Our Managing Partner, Scott Zach, has developed The Zach Group to consist of professionals who embrace the values of integrity, professionalism, excellence, and fun. We are committed to a client-centered approach that considers the needs of the client as paramount in the solution process. The Zach Group's Financial Representatives and Network Specialists are dedicated to the financial success of our clients.

 

A native of Cedar Rapids, IA, Scott is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in Marketing. Upon graduating from Iowa, Scott worked with Campus Crusade for Christ at Ohio State University. After his two-year commitment to Campus Crusade, Scott became the President of Practitioners Purchasing Group in Columbus, OH. He served in this capacity for three years.

 

In 1994, Scott moved home to Cedar Rapids and entered the financial services industry when he joined the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network. Scott was appointed Managing Partner of The Zach Group in January 2000. Previous to his appointment, Scott held the positions of Financial Representative and Field Director.

 

He is involved with Cedar Rapids Country Club and New Covenant Bible Church.  Scott is a member of GAMA, NAIFA and currently serves as first vice president for the Northwestern Mutual Managing Partners Association.  Scott and his wife, Atiya, have four children and reside in Cedar Rapids.

 

The Zach Group

 

The Network Office, now known as The Zach Group, was founded in 1887 as the first Northwestern Mutual agency in Iowa.  

Through offices located in Cedar Rapids, Decorah, Dubuque, Manchester, Marshalltown, Mason City and Waterloo, The Zach Group's Financial Representatives serve over 74,918 policy owners with the products and services offered through Northwestern Mutual Financial Network.
